MGM Bowling Night

MGM Bowling Night! Once again it was a successful event as usual. Bowling night was organized on the March 27th between 5:00pm to 7:00pm.The event was sponsored by MGM. About 15 families had participated, 4 adult lanes and 3 kids lanes were booked for 2 hours. Everybody played in a group and had a great time. It was a surprise to know we have some experts in our own samaj. Many of them were first timers and they also enjoyed by learning this new game....

Tresurer Report - March 2010

It’s another successful year and we would like to take the opportunity to tell you that MGM account has been reconciled up to Dec-09 and we are working towards to finalizing the accounts for the year 2009.
With generous donations and tremendous support from our community members we have made donation of 100,000 INR to Education Nidhi, India and $251 towards Haiti Relief from MGM and MGM Mahila Mandal.
We would like to thank all our committee members, volunteers and their families for their hard work and continues support.

Dear vadilo and gnati bandhu,
Namaste,
First of all let me wish you a very happy 2010 and hope this year brings joy, prosperity and hope for everyone. Looking back at the past year, I feel 2009 was more challenging. With some of us losing our jobs and some of us having our hours cut, the overall economic condition was not favourable as we are still finding ourselves digging out of a hole. However, the overall financials already look better and Canada is in a comparatively stronger position to turn the economy around with new jobs and a better future.
At MGM, we did it again and donated Rs.100,000 to our Education Nidhi in India and I am happy to announce that total for the Nid...
