MGM contributes Rs. 60,000 to Samuh Lagna

This concept of large number of couples getting married on the same day is getting increasingly popular. We ran the theme of Samuh lagna for our Diwali celebration in November 2007 and raised a whopping $1500 which then converted in Indian rupees 60,000. This amount (already sent to India) will help almost eight couples to get married through our Mochi Gnati Parishad in March 2008.
This was a great opportunity for MGM to go beyond our mandal and offer our help to people in need of our community.
